Leticia Lopez

President / Founder
As a small business owner in the North Hollywood area, co-founder and President Leticia Lopez has been an advocate for the homeless community for the past 7 years. She takes great pride in the fact that HOLA is 100% run by volunteers and a Board, and all donations go directly to the cause supporting the homeless and families in need. Leticia enjoys conducting outreach and making connection with the homeless community in the streets, where she personally delivers food, supplies and other resources to the homeless.

Ms. Lopez began her nonprofit leadership role in 2014, when she served on the Board of another nonprofit helping the homeless community in the Los Angeles area.

Her passion of helping the homeless community and families in need comes from her immigrant family roots and traditions. She was raised to always do the right thing and fulfill her civic duty to help those in the community around her.

Ms. Lopez lives in the valley with her son and two dogs.

Donations Director

2015/2016 was the year that really opened my eyes. My husband had been in the hospital for almost a month and the outpouring of love and support from strangers was just so mind blowing. That support has continued through our days since then. Because of my now friends and family, we were able to get through some of our hardest days of our lives. They are the reason why my family volunteers. We want to pay it forward in the best way we can and know how, and as a way to say “Thank you to all those who were and continue to be there for us.”

That is when I started to volunteer!

At first it was every other Sunday then every Sunday.  After that, it was whenever I was needed. It didn’t matter that it was at 7pm on a weekday. We do it from the heart and love to get to know the people that we help.

I am thankful to organizations who support our brothers and sisters and their fur babies experiencing homelessness.
